冰雪汽车展厅极地现身;芬兰家具公司获国际媒体青睐

First snow hotels and now car dealerships. Finnish company Frozen Innovations used 3 000 cubic metres of snow to build a pop-up showroom in Rovaniemi, Finland, for electric car brand Polestar. According to Newsweek, the 12-metre-high cube took about 20 days to build. It will be taken down after 26 February, and the snow will be returned to a nearby skiing resort.

Tarja Turunen is coming to the US. The heavy metal singer will kick off a 12-city US tour titled Living The Dream on 14 June in Philadelphia. The tour follows the release of Turunen’s latest solo album, Best Of: Living The Dream. Check out the rest of the dates on Blabbermouth.

Metal music lovers are also being treated by the release of Hanging Garden’s new single, The Fireside. It’s the second song revealed from the melodic doom metal band’s upcoming album, The Garden, set to be released in March. Watch the music video on BraveWords.

Tia Kouvo’s debut feature, Family Time, will premiere at the Berlin International Film Festival. The film, a humorous and sharp study of family relations, is the first Finnish title in the festival’s competitive Encounters section. The Finnish Film Foundation has the news.

ScreenDaily has revealed an exclusive clip from upcoming Finnish TV series Helsinki Syndrome. The 8-episode thriller focuses on an entrepreneur and family man, Elias Karo, whose vendetta against the government causes him to take four journalists hostage. The series will become available on 16 February.

Finnish building services company Caverion has struck a 11.5-million-euro agreement with The Centre of Registers of Lithuania. The deal covers all technical and smart solutions for the centre’s fully renovated, energy-efficient offices in Vilnius. Read more on Caverion’s press release.

Upcoming Finnish feature Light Light Light has secured an international distributor, Variety reveals. Indie company Intramovies will handle the film’s sales outside its home market. The film, directed by Inari Niemi and produced by Lucy Loves Drama, is currently in post-production.

Ervin Latimer showcased the third seasonal collection of his label Latimmier at Copenhagen Fashion Week. According to HypeBeast, the collection was impacted by the designer’s battles with exhaustion and burnout and “was composed of 11 looks boasting elevated craftsmanship and recycled fabrics, seeing the brand find itself in a new light”.
